RESEARCH PORTFOLIO: Equipment and Crew

The main event for my documentary is going to be the live performance at the O2 Acadamy Islington. This show is a big break for OFFTR and we are required to sell 45 tickets otherwise we will be unable to do the show. The more tickets we sell, the later our slot will be in the night (later is always better). I decided to focus my documentary on this and follow us as we sell the tickets till the show. I'm hoping that everything will run smoothly, however if not, there are many shows that we will be performing at and other narratives that I can form for the documentary.

I want to focus on Xander! And BEAAUXX for the documentary having the rest of OFFTR stem from them, as it will be easier for the audience to get to know two members rather than all 8.

Because im going to be performing at the show my plan is to set up a camera with a tripod which will stay still the whole time, as well as this im planning on getting a filmographer to do moving shots of all our performances. If I am able to, I would like to also have a third cameraman to get audience footage, as I think it's important to show how the audience react to the acts on stage to give a sense of the vibe. 

Live performances are challenging when it comes to sound recording, I have spoken to BEAAUXX who is the DJ for the set about getting an audio feed of the whole performance, we have decided the best way is to practice with his DJ Decks beforehand to see if it works. If not I plan on using a zoom to record all the audio separately and then edit together as I feel like this would be the best way to pick it up.
